Privacy policy

This policy explains what KineticsTrade (kineticstrade.com and its apps) keeps about you, why, who else handles it, and what you can ask of us. We keep only what the platform needs to work and never sell your data.

1. What we keep

• Your account: email address, sign-in details (your password is stored only as a secure hash by our login provider), approval status and the level of your account (user, provider).
• Your profile, if you fill it in: name, nationality, date of birth, mobile number, country and city, profile picture.
• Your trading on KineticsTrade: the paper account, its trades and orders, your risk settings, price alerts, the signals you took or skipped, and for a linked broker the orders you sent through us.
• A linked broker account: handled as set out in the credentials policy — your broker password is passed to MetaApi to create the link and is not kept by KineticsTrade.
• Using the app: your settings (theme, layout, chart choices), notifications and which you have read, when you were last active and on which kind of device, linked extra screens, and a record of AI checks you asked for (to count their cost).
• Phone notifications: if you allow them, the device token that lets us send them.
• Purchases: which tools or plans you bought or were given, and the payment reference.

2. Why

• To run your account and the features you use (signals, charts, trading, notifications).
• To keep the platform safe: approving accounts, preventing misuse, signing out idle sessions.
• To support you and to fix problems.
• To bill tools and plans, and to keep the records the law requires.

3. Who else handles it

Only the services KineticsTrade runs on, each for its own part:

• Supabase — the database and sign-in.
• Vercel — hosting the website and the app's pages.
• MetaApi — the link to your MT4 / MT5 broker account, when you create one.
• Anthropic — the AI checks you ask for (the trade or market in question, not your name or email).
• Google / Firebase — delivering phone notifications (and, once switched on, “Sign in with Google”).
• Market data providers (Kraken, Twelve Data) — receive no personal data.
• Signal providers you follow — see that you follow them and how many followers they have; never your details, balance or trades.

Some of these services are outside your country; they are bound to protect the data by their own terms.

4. How long

As long as your account is open. When you close it we delete your profile and settings; records the law requires us to keep (for example of payments) are kept for the period it sets, then deleted.

5. Your rights

• See what we keep about you, and correct it (most of it in Settings).
• Have it deleted, or your account closed.
• Receive a copy of it.
• Object to or withdraw consent for anything optional (notifications, AI checks).
• Complain to your data protection authority (in Kenya, the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner).

6. Cookies and this device

We use only the cookies the app needs: to keep you signed in and to remember choices such as the theme and view mode. Some choices (chart drawings and display options, the side menu) are kept on your device only. No advertising or tracking cookies.

7. Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we tell you in the app before it applies.
